Yep,thats true. The hardware is good and if used only
as a 2ch Hifi card its ok,but then only a fraction of
what is hardwired is in use. The driversupport is minimal
to say it as positiv as possible. And using this card as
advertised is impossible under any OS.
Audiotrak also has moved to produce X-Fi clones. What a
bad move,but probably cheaper as driversupport is coded
elsewhere.

I just have bought the Prodigy 7.1 hifi and everything seemed to work fine with Windows7/32. But now I have the same problem like LordICE. No Sound at the yellow jack. Its funny but in the Soundwindow of Prodigy there is a signal shown at 7/8. but only for windows-sounds. For the line or mic input there is nothing shown, but it can be heard only on the front speakers.

It all turned wrong as I tried to make the Surround 5.1 Sound work in the Microsoft Soundcontrolpanel.
Also the inputs of mic and line can be heard on channel 7/8 when you turn on then monitor switch in the microsoft sound control for these input channels - but with a big latency.
I think the Windows Soundcontrol collides with the one of Prodigy.

Is there a possibility to leave the soundcontrol only to the prodigy soundcontrol?

Good evening,
are a holder of a card Audiotrak Inca88. My problem is I can not install the adapter driver on Windows XP. The system responds to me that the drivers are incorrect. Reading the web I discovered that there are various models of this card (Standard, OEM, etc ...) so I think the problem is just that. The drivers that I find on your site for another model of card. Not for my card. In fact, after many trials, I'm sure the card is working ... The problem is the drivers!

I think my sound card is the OEM version (with chip Hint E. Band and together with the card miditrak 2120)

Where can I find the right driver?

Hello, recently has got the computer of the following configuration:

Intel Core i5 AsRock P55MPro DDR2 4Gb

Has established from old computer PCI sound card Audiotrak MAYA 44 MKII. Drivers for the given device took from the official web site, the newest version, specially for windows 7 32-bit.

However at reproduction of any sound there are rattles, clipping and distortions.

In the given system I use also programs antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials, fireproof wall Windows 7.

For the decision of a problem I undertook following actions:

- Disconnected integrated VIA Realtrek HD through BIOS

- Disconnected VIA HD in the dispatcher of problems

- Established power supplies parametres on a mode "High efficiency"

- Changed in the menu "Sound" of adjustment of digitization on-default for various values

- Reinstalled drivers and the device

- Strutters in monitoring п;р;о;ц;е;с;с;о;р;в; a high priority to audioprocesses

Has noticed that sound artefacts appear at the first reproduction. I.e. that they were gone, it is necessary to open any audio-appendix twice (windows media player, transcribe 8, steinberg cubase essential 5, flash player in a browser internet explorer).

Also has found out that the console in т;р;е;е; for management of the general loudness, at toddler removing changes also faders position in the special program console of management PCI an audio-card, thus, that having changed у;р;о;в;е;н;т; in т;р;е;е; to 100 %, in special Consoles the general fader loudness of all channels rises to +78Db a sound becomes on the contrary practically is not i.e. that loudness level in special console was nearby 0Db, in tray it is necessary to expose sound level on 40 %.

Anything from the listed has not helped, prompt, what it is possible to make in my situation?

Interference/buzz on MAYA1010 outs with new PC (by KillerV)

I recently upgraded to a dual-core Intel PC after my old one (P4) just wasn't cutting it anymore. I'm on XP (SP2) and I've been using the same MAYA1010 interface for a while without any trouble. Everything is working fine with the new PC after I installed the interface, but I did notice a strange interference/buzz when I connected a secondary pair of (active) monitors to the 2nd stereo out-pair. It did the same on the 3rd stereo-out pair and I can hear it when I really turn the headphone outs up. It doesn't seem to be an issue when my main monitors (passive B&W's driven by an amp) alone are connected and the inputs are working fine. The right sides of each stereo out also seems to be more affected than the lefts. This was never an issue on my old PC.

I checked and found that the interface was sharing IRQ's with 2 other devices. Switching to a new PCI-slot (new PC has 2) didn't help. I disabled the devices that it shared the IRQ with (PCI-E and Network-somethingorother) but that didn't help. Uninstalling the newer drivers and installing the older ones that I used on the old PC didn't help either.

Although everything is fine when only my main monitors are connected and the interference isn't really that bad it is noticable. I also won't be able to do things like reamping or taking signals out to analog gear if I need to do that, which is kinda annoying. I would like to have the option.

Any help on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.

Prodigy HD2 standby issues (by Sehn)

I have the following issues with standby:
- when playing sound through ASIO, windows doesn't 'notice' this, causing it to go into standby after a while. I want to play sound through ASIO, but disabling standby is not an option
- After resuming from standby, there is often no sound, requiring a reboot to fix the problem.
- the driver sometimes causes a bluescreen when going into standby
I'm running Windows 7 x64, with the 1.08 driver for my Prodigy HD2

Hi there.
I know that it's an old card, but I love it and I don't want to spend money and buy a new one.

I use windows 7 (x64 bit) and I have try everything.
I did change PCI slots, try several drivers.

Actually I have problem with the "controller" of maya.
During the installation, I instal successfully the "Maya audio" but I have a "yellow questionmark" on "controller" and the message "the device is not working - error
code -10"

What do we have to do, to ask Audiotrack (or ESI) to publish drivers for win 7 (64 bit)?
I think that I don't ask for something extremely difficult.
