Hello,
I've got a couple of questions and hope that you can help me.
I'm thinking about buying the Prodigy HD2 which is available here in Germany and has new drivers for Win 7-64 . But I have heard that the Advanced-Card (not available here) got a better sound because of different amps on the card, but no drivers for 7-64 .
Now I don't know what to do. The technical details say nothing to me.
It would be great if someone could tell me if there are great differencies in sound between both cards.
Is there anyone who tested the Advance on Win 7 ?

Hi Fantasy2000,
die Unterschiede bei den Karten sind nur bei den Bauteilen zu finden. Die Treiber funktionieren gleichermaßen für alle Versionen (es werden ja auch nicht verschiedene Karten gefunden).
Allerdings empfehle ich dringenst, die DE-Version zu ordern. Über ebay kann man sie direkt vom Hersteller (Gyrocom) bekommen (HD2 DE @ ebay), und das zu einem Hammer-Preis!!! Versand bei PayPal Bezahlung dauert gerade mal 2-3 Tage!!
Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen, dass diese Karte ein Traum ist!!! Wenn es um reines Stereo geht, kann jede X-Fi oder dergleichzen einstecken (die hatte ich vorher).
Natürlich muss auch die restliche Anlage stimmen, um das volle Potenzial auszunutzen. Und wenn es noch besser werden soll, können die OpAmps nach eigenen Wünschen ausgetauscht werden; dazu gibt es hier auch nen guten Thread, oder mal bei Head-fi.org gucken.
Mein kleines Baby sieht inzwischen so aus (diskrete Dual-Mono OpAmps vom Audio-gd ;-)):
