XP driver 1.08 (2009-10-29) problems / issues
written by Franz-Josef1 (User) | 12/16/2009 | 18:40 Hits: 1090
I've encountered these problems with Prodigy HD2:

* After computer standby/resume there is no sound (player continues however).

* Setting master volume (with XP's kmixer) has no effect; same holds for ANTEC HTPC's IMON remote / volume knob of course.

Any workarounds known?

I have the same "bug"on windows seven.

From quality wise this is a good feature as it bypass completely windows mixer. so it produce a better sound quality. having to change the volume on the amplifier is anoying. it would be cool if we could have the choice.

they should link the windows master volume to the output volume in their drivers...like Asus does, or the generic VIA drivers.

shame oh shame!!! all the HD2 drivers have problems.

the generic VIA drivers suffer from volume control issues in KS, the old EWDM drivers are buggy and crash a lot, and the new EWDM drivers do not allow master volume control from within windows.

I like to use Volumouse to change the volume, why didn't they link the master volume of Windows to the output volume of their drivers?!!??!!?!? even Asus does it on their Essence Xonar cards.

such a killer card(especially with some Burson's), and all the drivers stink :(
