I have just installed the new 1.08 drivers, thanks to funkx.
why the sound control of seven doesn't work? even if I mute the sound is still playing. I need to use the ESI control panel, but using the windows mixer would be more useful as I have a multimedia keybord with volume on it. |

It's useless to post message here or to their support message. they never reply.
They probably have one of the best sound card, quality wise, but the worst technical support of the entire industries. |

Yep,thats true. The hardware is good and if used only
as a 2ch Hifi card its ok,but then only a fraction of
what is hardwired is in use. The driversupport is minimal
to say it as positiv as possible. And using this card as
advertised is impossible under any OS.
Audiotrak also has moved to produce X-Fi clones. What a
bad move,but probably cheaper as driversupport is coded
elsewhere.
