I'm using the mentioned card.
I'm using Vista 32-bit.
I'm using Windows Media Center to play stereo and DVD's with 5.1 surround sound.
I'm also using the Line-In because my televisons stereo-output is connected to that.
I'm using the analog out (NOT the digital).
I have de-activated the drivers for the on-board sound card.
A)
The program on the cd is v 1.02.
The newest driver/control panel is v 1.08. How should I install that ? I tried running win32Pd71HiFiPan.exe but nothing happened and when I start the program it still says v 1.02.
Pd71HiFiPan.exe is the only exe-file I see (apart from the UnInstall32.exe which I assume I shouldn't run).
B)
The test channels (where there's a robot-head) doesn't work. All speakers are greyed out. When I press "Auto" nothing happens. Why is that ?
C)
In Vistas Control Panel /Sound I have three devices:
"Loudspeakers". From here I can run the test and all of my 5 speakers works.
"Internal AUX-plug". What do I need this for ? And why is the "level" tab blank ?
"Loudspeakers QVE for Prodigy". What is this for ? And why doesn't my speakers work when I try the "test" from here ? Level is set to 100.

I think the manual has very little information of how-to-setup. Maybe it's just me that's not a musician or soundtechnician, but stil..
I don't need explanations of all the effects, Directwire, QEM, QSizzle, QRumble, 3D, EQ and so on.
I don't need any explanation for setting up for recording.
I just need a simple explanation of how to 1) play HiFi music 2) play DVD with 5.1 surround 3) setting the level for LineIn via my WMC remote control.
E)
When I run the WMC setup of speakers all speakers are muted. Why is that ?
F)
What is the 4-pin connector on the board to ?
What is the 20-pin connector on the board to ?
G)
Why is there both audiotrak.net and audiotrack.net which apparently holds drivers for different products.
H)
I have connected my TV to line-in, but the volumne can't be controlled via WMC. Why not ?
Is this volume only controlled via Gain ?
Why is there a CD-input in the software when there's no where to connect a cable (there's only line-in and mic).
