Hi!
How to get best sound out of HD2 + analog hifi amplifier? Is it possible to disable HD2 opamps?

no, it's not possible!
and by the way, why should you?
Your HiFi-Amp is full of them, and if it's a surround-amp, there will be a lot of non-analog ICs in the signal-way.

To get the best sound out of the Prodigy, you can tune the card by replacing the OpAmps by better ones. In fact, it's awesome what you can get out of this card by tuning a bit and btw adjust the sound-stage perfectly to your favor!

The Audio-gd OpAmps are the perfect deal for me!

and by the way, why should you?

Simply - my amplifier already have preAMP and powerAMP. Why should I need another preAMP in front of that? I am pretty sure that hifi amplifiers preAMP is much better that sound card OpAmp and even replaced ones.
