Yes I tried removing all non-critical devices and followed all the steps mentioned in the FAQ and other posts. Switching between QSound/Prodigy didn't make much of a difference. It still happens.

I've also tried these systems with just the motherboard, video card, sound card, CD drive, and a hard disk. Disabled onboard Audio, clean installation of Windows XP (or MCE2005), the drivers for Prodigy card and video card.
